Places of attractions:

Thousand Pillar temple is a must see attraction in Warangal. The temple is just about 10mnts journey from the city. It is located in a place called Hanumakonda, about 5km from the main city. The temple is in ruins. It was built by the Kakatiya rulers. As the name suggest the temple has thousand pillars.

Badrakali temple is a popular attraction of the city. This ancient temple was built by the Chalukya rulers. A lake adjoining the temple enhances the beauty of the place.

Warangal Fort, built around 13th century is in ruins. You can see some of the ruins like the ‘Kirti Torana’ (entrance of fame) at the site.

There is a temple called Ramappa temple named after the sculptor of the temple. It is at about 77 km from Warangal and the presiding deity is Ramalingeswara.
