Shivasamudram is a waterfall located about 135 Kms from Bangalore on Bangalore Mysore Highway. There are two routes to reach Shivasamudram from Bangalore. First you can take Bangalore Mysore highway till Maddur then take left turn to reach Malavalli go further to reach Shivasamudram covering 135 Kms in three hours. Second route is reaching Malavalli via Kanakapura from Bangalore, Taking right turn reach Shivasamudram. Shivasamudram Is not well connected by Bus service, From Bangalore or Mysore you get dropped at Kollagala and then hire a cab or an Auto rickshaw to reach Shivasamudram. Having one’s own vehicle is a better choice to come to Shivasamudram.
