Mandu is a town in the district of Dhar of Madhya Pradesh state. Perched on the edge of Malwa region in the state, Mandu is a major tourist place with rich historical background. Reva Kund, Rupayam Museum, Hathi Mahal, Chhappan Mahal Museum and Nilkant Mahal are other prominent historic structures and places you should not miss on your tour to Mandu. How to reach: Ahilyabai Holkar Airport of Indore (100 km) is the closest airbase to Mandu. The airport is served with many flights connecting Indore to other major cities of India. From Indore you can hire a taxi or car to reach the town of Mandu. Ratlam railway station (120 km) is the nearest railhead to Mandu. State Transport Corporation also conducts bus service connecting the town of Mandu to many other parts of the state.
