the beautiful hill station on the Western Ghats at about 1600 meters above sea level. Attraction on the drive include Spice Plantations, Valara waterfalls, Cheeyappara waterfalls, Karadippara view point, Attukkad water fall view etc. Once you reach Munnar, check in to the hotel and go for a stroll in the Munnar town.
After Breakfast explore Munnar, this is town is situated at the confluence of the three mountain streams Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala. There are also lakes, reservoirs, forests and several tea estates. One must see the Eravikulam - Rajamala National Park known for its Nilgiri Thar (a mountain Goat). This national park is situated in the Munnar forest division. Later visit the Indo Swiss Dairy Farm project, here are about 100 varieties of high yielding cattle are reared. Visit the rose garden. Opposite the Swiss farm is the Mattupaty Lake a beautiful lake surrounded by an excellent golf course. Overnight stay at the resort.
Morning depart to Thekkady. On arrival check in at the hotel. Later in the afternoon leave for Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary to board the safari boat to view wildlife in their natural habitat. If you’re, lucky you may see Wild Elephants, king cobra, other reptiles, wild boar, tiger, leopard, wild dog & monkeys. Return to your hotel for overnight at the hotel.
