Day 1: Aurangabad - Shirdi (via Shani Shingnapur Temple, Total distance 160 kms /3 hours)
On arrival at Aurangabad airport, you will be transferred to Shirdi. On the way to Shirdi visit Shani Shingnapur Temple which is about 80 kms and takes 1 ½ hrs. Then, drive to Shirdi which is another 80 kms and takes about the same time to reach. On reaching Shirdi, check-in at your hotel and then visit the famous Sai Baba Temple. By evening, return to your hotel for a comfortable overnight stay.
Day 2: Shirdi - Aurangabad (via Ellora Caves, Total distance 110 kms / 2 hours)
leave from Shirdi and get transferred to your hotel in Aurangabad. On the route, visit the famous Ellora Caves.
Ellora Caves are a World Heritage site. Ellora represents the epitome of Indian rock-cut architecture. The 34 caves are actually structures excavated out of the vertical face of the Charanandri Hills. Buddhist, Hindu and Jain rock-cut temples and viharas and mathas were built between the 5th century and 10th century. The 12 Buddhist caves (1-12), 17 Hindu caves (13-29) and 5 Jaini caves (30–34) caves built in proximity, demonstrate the religious harmony prevalent during that period of Indian history, an aspect a typical visitor overlooks is the geological background of Ellora. Arrive at Aurangabad in the evening and check-in at your hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure and stay overnight at your hotel.
Day 3: Aurangabad - Ajanta Caves (100 kms one way / 2 hours approximately)
After breakfast, go for a full day excursion to Ajanta Caves. Since 1983, the Ajanta Caves have been a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You can get an excellent view and perspective of the insides of the Kailasa temple by climbing up the hill around it. Its immense size covers twice the area of the Pantheon in Athens and is one and a half times as high. Return to your hotel in the evening for a comfortable overnight stay.
Day 4: Aurangabad
After breakfast local sightseeing tour. Return to your hotel in the evening for a comfortable overnight stay.
Day 5: Depart from Aurangabad
After breakfast, check out of the hotel and transfer to the airport. Tour concludes!
